far worse than we could ever imagine facing.
I originally decided to take on this very personal project as a way to preserve my own family's history. But I soon realized that there was so much more to explore. This is not just the story of one family, but of an entire community's struggle through some of our nations most trying times of the past century: World War I, Prohibition, The Great Depression and World War II. “Yankee Lake: The History and The Legend” is a family's history, a community's history, and a real life story of the American dream.
